Kop khun kha

Swadee kha! (Greetings in Thai)

Last week I had the opportunity to present a research at Kasetsart University. It was less than a week journey but really worth it.

The first day, I got to eat at 'train' night market. I wanted to go to 'chatuchak' night market but the grab driver told me it wasn't open because chatuchak only open on the weekend, so he brought me to train market.

The second day, I had a welcome party. I tasted a lot of new Thai foods, mostly seafoods and it was fine. Delicious but I like Indonesian foods better to be honest..
There was also performance of Thai traditional dances. It was great.

The next day, I managed to finish my presentation and then went to Tops Market. I bought some iconic products of Thailand, such as freezedried Durian Monthong, Thai Tea instant powder, BB powder, etc.

And on the last day, I went to Wat Arun. I had to take a bus, BTS (train), and boat to get there. It is cool that Thai utilized their river in a good way. I enjoyed everything. Wat Arun is a buddhist temple. It was my second time to visit a buddhist temple. First was Borrobudur temple in Indonesia. Wat Arun is very different with Borrobudur. Borrobudur is way more huge, Wat Arun is smaller but have more details and colors. So beautiful.

Have you ever been to Thailand?
