Transits

Hi! I'm going to share some tips on traveling. I went to Japan and Thailand with a funding support (scholarships) so I needed to manage my money really well. I bought the most affordable flight tickets which required me to transit for several hours in different places. It was a bonus for me. I wasn't sad but I was glad. I love exploring new places.

My first transit (when I went to Japan) was a few hours in Bali. I had been to Bali before so I did not get out of the airport. Ngurah Rai International Airport was very beautiful. I think it is the best airport in Indonesia. I could explore the whole airport without getting bored or tired.

My second transit (when I departed from Japan) was 7 hours in KLIA 2. I went outside the airport. Fortunately I have a good friend in Malaysia, Sabilla, and she was willing to hangout with me for a couple hours during my transit. Sabilla and her friend took me around Putrajaya. We shot some photos at several beautiful points. The most pretty place was Masjid Putrajaya. I don't know but in my own opinion I think Malaysia looks more religious than Indonesia and it felt really good.

My third transit (when I went to Thailand) was 9 hours in KLIA 1. I made it to twin tower by a bus, the most affordable option. It was only around 11 or 13 ringgit (don't really remember), it'd be around 50 ringgit if I took train. Me and my friend, Yeyen, took photos in front of the twin tower, after that, we took a train, something like MRT I guess, it was only around 2.5 ringgit to KL center. KL center was huge and cool. The station is integrated with some kind of a mall. We took bus from KL center to get back to KLIA, for around 8 or 10 ringgit.

It was nice.

Have you ever been to Malaysia?
